Celestial Roots is a cultural heritage reference tool that helps users explore traditional Chinese metaphysics texts, including BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny), Zi Wei Dou Shu (Purple Star Astrology), I Ching (Book of Changes), and traditional Chinese almanac systems.

The Service retrieves and presents relevant passages from classical Chinese texts based on user-provided birth data. All readings include source citations from verified classical texts.

You acknowledge and agree that:

The Service does not predict future events or guarantee any outcomes.
The Service does not constitute professional advice in any field, including but not limited to medical, financial, legal, psychological, or relationship matters.
You should exercise your own judgment for all life decisions and consult qualified professionals where appropriate.
Results are generated by AI interpreting classical texts and may not be accurate for all individuals.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

5. Activation Codes

To access the Service, you must:

Purchase an activation code from an authorized third-party sales platform.
Redeem the code on our activation page. Each code can be redeemed once.

Celestial Roots does not require you to create an account. We do not ask for, collect, or store your name, email address, or password.

6. Payment and Billing

Payments are collected by the Sales Platform described in Section 7, which acts as the merchant of record. Celestial Roots does not directly process, collect, or store your payment information.

All prices are as listed on the Sales Platform at the time of purchase.

7. Refund Policy

Celestial Roots license codes are sold through third-party sales platforms (the "Sales Platform"). The Sales Platform is the merchant of record and handles all payment collection and refunds.

To request a refund, please follow the Sales Platform's refund process.
Unused (never activated) license codes are generally eligible for a refund, subject to the Sales Platform's policy.
Activated or partially used license codes are generally non-refundable.
We do not process payments or refunds directly on this website.

If you are unsure which platform your purchase came from, please contact us before submitting a refund request.

Digital goods: All products are digital license codes delivered electronically. There are no physical goods and no shipping charges, so no return or shipping-related refunds apply. Where the Sales Platform's own terms provide a different refund window or a mandatory cooling-off period, the Sales Platform's terms prevail over this section.

8. Usage Limits

The Service is subject to daily usage limits (currently 40 queries per day) to ensure fair access for all users and manage operational costs.

9. Intellectual Property

The classical texts referenced by the Service (including but not limited to 《钦定协纪辨方书》) are in the public domain. The Service's AI models, software, interface design, and original content are the intellectual property of Celestial Roots.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures.
Share, resell, or redistribute activation codes.
Use the Service to make medical, financial, legal, or other professional decisions.
Resell or redistribute Service content without authorization.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Celestial Roots shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
